Triethylamine is a mobile-phase modifier in RP-HPLC break of acidic, basic, and aloof drugs. Improves resolution of amino acids and amino acid amides by HPLC by suppressing tailing. Triethylamine is frequently active in amoebic amalgam in the alertness of esters and amides from acyl chlorides. It is aswell advantageous in dehydrohalogenation reactions and Swern oxidations.
